Meet the Doctor

Dr. Greg Kempers is a devout Christian who has lived in Colorado for over forty years. He graduated from Colorado College in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in Economics and a minor in Premedical Studies. Post graduation, Dr. Kempers began his work in healthcare, which includes nine years in emergency and urgent care.  After completing his master's degree in Business and Health Management from the University of Colorado at Denver, he worked with an oral surgeon in Grand Junction while running a small business performing medical exams for life insurance companies.  

In 2003, Dr. Kempers returned to school to become a DDS. He realized that his previous work experience and education would assist him in many areas of private practice, choosing to apply them in the delivery of patient-focused, quality dental care. During his studies, he received a scholarship awarded to students with outstanding skills in dental restorations. In May 2007, Dr. Kempers graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.  

After working as an associate in several offices to gain experience, Dr. Kempers started his own dental practice in December 2008. Since its opening, Capstone Dental has grown into a successful private practice that strives to provide excellent comprehensive dental care for the entire family.

Dr. Kempers enjoys hunting, leading a Bible study and serving as a marriage counselor at his church, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
